Padmapriya is in high spirits as she is chosen the Best Actress of 2009 by a vernacular weekly recently. “This weekly is one of my parents’ regular picks and I'm very glad as my parents were happy to find a good news like this,” shared the actress.
Padmapriya has flown down from Bangalore to Chennai recently to participate in the promo shoot of ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’. Meanwhile the actress has also accepted a call from Kavithalaya and had discussed a script with director Brindha Saradhar, say the sources.
Last year Padmapriya had eight films in 5 languages and this year she will have a Bengali and a Hindi film to her credit too. On the other hand the actress has signed in for a Kannada film with Shivrajakumar tilted ‘Thamasu’. Padmapriya is entering Bollywood this year with 'Striker', featuring ‘Boys’ fame Siddharth in lead.
