| പോക്കിരിരാജ മെഗാവിജയമാകുകയാണ്. ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചാം നാളിലേക്ക് കടക്കുമ്പോള് പോക്കിരിരാജയുടെ ഗ്രോസ് കളക്ഷന് 15 കോടി രൂപയാണ്. റിലീസിംഗ് സെന്ററുകളില് നിന്ന് മാത്രം ഇത്രയും തുക നേടിയ ചിത്രം നിര്മ്മാതാവിന് കോടികളുടെ ലാഭമാണ് ഇപ്പോള്ത്തന്നെ നേടിക്കൊടുത്തത്.
ചെന്നൈ, ബാംഗ്ലൂര് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില് ആറു തിയേറ്ററുകളില് വീതമാണ് പോക്കിരിരാജ കളിക്കുന്നത്. മമ്മൂട്ടിയും പൃഥ്വിരാജും മത്സരിച്ചഭിനയിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രം പൊള്ളാച്ചിയിലും പ്രദര്ശനം തുടരുന്നു. സിംഗപ്പൂര്, അമേരിക്ക, ന്യൂസിലന്ഡ്, കാനഡ, ഇംഗ്ലണ്ട്, ആസ്ട്രേലിയ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില് ചിത്രം റിലീസ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈയാഴ്ച ഗള്ഫിലും പോക്കിരിരാജ റിലീസാകുകയാണ്.
“റിമോട്ട് കൈയില് ഇല്ലാതെ ടി വി കാണുന്നത് പലര്ക്കും ഇന്ന് ആലോചിക്കാന് കഴിയില്ല. ഒരു ചാനല് അല്പ്പനേരം കണ്ടാല് ഉടന് മറ്റ് ചാനലുകളിലേക്ക് പോകും. പ്രേക്ഷകര്ക്ക് ക്ഷമയില്ലാത്ത കാലം. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ, കഥയുടെ ഫ്ലോ നഷ്ടപ്പെടാതെ വേഗത്തില് ഒരു ചിത്രമൊരുക്കുകയായിരുന്നു ലക്ഷ്യം.” - പോക്കിരിരാജയുടെ സംവിധായകന് വൈശാഖ് പറഞ്ഞു.
4.25 കോടി രൂപയാണ് പോക്കിരിരാജയുടെ ബജറ്റ്. മുതല്മുടക്കിന്റെ പലമടങ്ങ് ലാഭം നിര്മ്മാതാവിന് നേടിക്കൊടുക്കാന് ആദ്യചിത്രത്തിലൂടെത്തന്നെ വൈശാഖിന് കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഇപ്പോള് നിര്മ്മാതാക്കള് വൈശാഖിന്റെ പിന്നാലെയാണ്. അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ അടുത്ത ചിത്രം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു. ‘സീനിയേഴ്സ്’ എന്ന് പേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രത്തില് മലയാളത്തിലെ നാല് സൂപ്പര്താരങ്ങള് നായകന്മാരാകും. | |
