| വീണ്ടും പൊലീസ് വേഷത്തിലെത്തുകയാണ് മലയാളത്തിന്‍റെ ആക്ഷന്‍ ഹീറോ സുരേഷ്ഗോപി. ഡോ. എസ് ജനാര്‍ദ്ദനന്‍ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന പുതിയ ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് സുരേഷിന്‍റെ പൊലീസ് വേഷം. ഒരു കൊലപാതകത്തിന്‍റെ അന്വേഷണവും അതിന്‍റെ സങ്കീര്‍ണതകളുമാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ പ്രമേയമെന്നാണ് സൂചന.
മഹാസമുദ്രം എന്ന മോഹന്‍ലാല്‍ ചിത്രത്തിന് ശേഷം ഡോ. എസ് ജനാര്‍ദ്ദനന്‍ തിരക്കഥയെഴുതി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ ക്രൈം ത്രില്ലറിന് പേരിട്ടിട്ടില്ല. ജൂലൈ ആദ്യം ചിത്രീകരണം ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന ഈ സിനിമയുടെ പ്രധാന ലൊക്കേഷന്‍ ഒറ്റപ്പാലമാണ്.
ഒരു ആര്‍ട്ട് ഡയറക്ടറുടെ വേഷത്തില്‍ യുവനടന്‍ ബാലയും ഈ ചിത്രത്തില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കുന്നു. നായികയെ തീരുമാനിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ലക്ഷ്മി ഗോപാലസ്വാമി ഒരു പ്രധാനവേഷത്തില്‍ എത്തുന്നു.
കമ്മീഷണര്‍, ഭരത്ചന്ദ്രന്‍ ഐ പി എസ്, ക്രൈം ഫയല്‍, ഐ ജി, എഫ് ഐ ആര്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ ചിത്രങ്ങളിലെ ഉജ്ജ്വലമായ പൊലീസ് വേഷങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം വീണ്ടും പൊലീസ് യൂണിഫോം അണിയുമ്പോള്‍ സുരേഷ്ഗോപി എന്ത് വ്യത്യസ്തതയാണ് കാണികള്‍ക്കായി കാഴ്ചവയ്ക്കുന്നതെന്ന് കാത്തിരുന്നു കാണാം.
മഹാസമുദ്രം ഒരു പരാജയപ്പെട്ട ചിത്രമാണ്. അതിന് ശേഷം സംവിധായകന്‍ എസ് ജനാര്‍ദ്ദനന്‍ മിനിസ്ക്രീനിലാണ് ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചത്. എന്തായാലും, സുരേഷ്ഗോപിച്ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ സിനിമയില്‍ വീണ്ടും സജീവമാകാനൊരുങ്ങുകയാണ് ജനാര്‍ദ്ദനന്‍ | |
