The cast and crew of director Laljose Mechery’s next, Spanish Masala are in Spain. Lead actors Dileep and Daniela Zacherl were seen on location filming this rom-com.

In Spanish Masala, Popular Star Dileep will play a chef, but no tout of choice, unlike his earlier film, Mr Butler chef by choice. Dileep plays a Malayali, who lands in Spain as a mimicry artist, but circumstances force him to work as a chef. While there, he falls in love with a Spanish girl, played by Daniela, who replaced earlier Amy Jackson as the lead heroine. Spanish Masala is touted to be the first Malayalam film to be shot abroad entirely.
