| Story:
A typical mass masala tale, the story begins with Ananthu (manikuttan) who hails from a very rich family but then just to prove that every job has its dignity and worth, he moves out. Soon, he takes up the role of a coolie and in no time, he becomes the head of the entire Coolie union. All this is happening in the Valiyangadi market and interestingly, without any religious or caste barriers, everyone adores Ananthu to the fullest. However, there are the regular set of villains in the form of Kottarathil Pappachan (kalabhavan), John Christopher, Asal Aslam Khan and others who want to put an end to Ananthu. Then, there is also the love track between him and Gowri (varada). What happens after that can be predicted with closed eyes. | |

| Presentation:
The director has come up with a regular formula story. The presentation was okay and the narrative was normal. Dialogues were dull, the script was weak and the screenplay was stale. Background score was pathetic and songs need no mention here. Cinematography was patchy and editing was amateur. Manikuttan did his best to bring life into the character but in vain, Varada could have been better, Kalabhavan was wasted, Saju Kodiyan was standard, Remesh was regular, Narayanan Kutty was normal, Harisree managed few laughs. The others didn't have much say. | |

| Conclusion:
The film is a typical mass masala formula venture which would appease to the hardcore front benchers. While the first half goes about with the regular melodrama and hero glorifying, the second half goes about with the fights and sentiments. Romance track was weak and even the pace of the film was not upto the mark. Both the technical values and production values were below the standards and there is nothing to relish for the masses or the classes. This will mostly sink in the box office. | |
