| Amal Neerad, popular Malayalam director, is planning to debut in Kollywood. As per the latest reports from the sources close to the director, Amal had already got the dates from Suriya for his debut movie in Tamil. It’s interesting to note that the Malayalam director is well-known for his action flicks in Mollywood.
Amal will remake the Malayalam hit Mammootty starrer ‘Mrigaya’ by I V Sasi-Lohithadas, which was released in early nineties. Suriya will appear in the character of the uncultured hunter named Varunni, which Mammootty has enacted in the original that fetched him a State award.
Amal is currently busy with his Prithviraj starrer ‘Anwar’ in Malayalam and is expected to begin with the remake of ‘Mrigaya’ by 2010. We just saw Suriya as a hit-man in ‘Aadhavan, next lets get ready to see him as a huntsman. | |

| It looks like the ‘Ghajini’ team is getting ready to rock the floor with their next project.
Romantic hero Suriya and his lucky charm director A R Murugadoss will start the work for their next by March 8th, say the sources close to the actor. This one will be a trilingual made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, they say. The director had made it clear this time that, he is not making any remake of any script that is influenced by some other film. So, its time to look out for an original script from Murugadoss.
As of now Suriya is with the last schedule of ‘Singam’ but then we heard that the actor is longing for something that is missing in his career now. That’s a sweet romantic film… And so, Suriya is engaging himself in the process of listening to fresh romantic scripts. As a result, associates of successful directors are in Suriya’s house these days with love subjects.

| Of late we have been hearing a lot about the A R
Murugadas film produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. While the confirmed news
was that Suriya will be teaming up with Murugadas after the super
success of ‘Ghajini’ in 2005. Yesterday we delivered the news of Ravi
K. Chandran handling the camera for the said film and Harris Jayaraj
has started composing the music.
Now another surprising news doing rounds is that,
Kamal’s beautiful daughter Shruthi Haasan will make a dream debut in
Tamil opposite Suriya. But we also heard Shruthi is packing her bags to
Mumbai to give another try in Bollywood after her first film ‘Luck’ did
not charm the Indian audience.
The new Suriya film has been generating more
interest every passing day. But didn’t we also say that this Murugadas
film will happen only next year? Don’t worry. We’ll be there to tell
you everything as it happens. | |
