| മോഹന്ലാല് വീണ്ടും ഡബിള്സ് [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ഒരിടവേളയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം മോഹന്ലാല് വീണ്ടും ഇരട്ട വേഷത്തില്. റാഫി-മെക്കാര്ട്ടിന് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചൈനാ ടൗണാണ് ലാലിന്റെ ഡബിള് ഇംപാക്ടിന് അരങ്ങൊരുക്കുന്നത്. വമ്പന് ബജറ്റിലൊരുങ്ങുന്ന ഈ മള്ട്ടി സ്റ്റാര് മൂവിയില് ജയറാമും ദിലീപുമാണ് മറ്റു രണ്ട് നായകന്മാര്.
ഗുണ്ടയായ മാത്യുക്കുട്ടിയായി ലാല്, പണക്കൊതിയന് സഖറിയ, സ്നേഹം ഒരു ദൗര്ബല്യമായി കൊണ്ടുനടക്കുന്ന ബിനോയി എന്നീ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ ജയറാമും ദിലീപും അവതരിപ്പിയ്ക്കുന്നു. എന്നാല് ചൈനാ ടൗണ് രണ്ട് തലമുറകളുടെ കഥ കൂടിയാണ്.
ആത്മാര്ത്ഥ സുഹൃത്തുക്കളായിരുന്ന മൂന്ന് പേരുടെ മക്കളാണ് മാത്യുക്കുട്ടിയും സക്കറിയയും ബിനോയിയും. പക്ഷേ ഇവരെല്ലാം പലവഴിയ്ക്കായി പിരിയുന്നു. വര്ഷങ്ങള്ക്ക് ശേഷം ഒരു പ്രത്യേക ലക്ഷ്യത്തിന് വേണ്ടി ആത്മാര്ത്ഥ സുഹൃത്തുക്കള് ഒന്നിയ്ക്കുന്നതാണ് ചൈനാ ടൗണിന്റെ പ്രമേയം.
ചൈനാ ടൗണിലെ ആദ്യ തലമുറയിലെ രണ്ട് സുഹൃത്തുക്കളെ അവതരിപ്പിയ്ക്കുന്നത് ശങ്കറും ജോസുമാണ്. മറ്റൊരാള് മോഹന്ലാല് തന്നെ. അതേ ഉടയോന് ശേഷം ലാല് വീണ്ടും അച്ഛനും മകനുമായി അഭിനയിക്കുകയാണ്. ഉടയോന് പുറമെ രാവണപ്രഭുവിലും അച്ഛനും മകനുമായി ലാല് തകര്ത്തഭിനയിച്ചിരുന്നു. പഴയ തലമുറകളുടെ ഗെറ്റപ്പിലാണ് ലാല് അവതരിപ്പിയ്ക്കുന്ന അച്ഛന് കഥാപാത്രവും ശങ്കറും ജോസും ചൈനാ ടൗണില് പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നത്.
