Though Dileep is finding it hard to be amidst hits, he still has plenty of promising projects that may workout for him in the immediate future. The most promising offer that has came his way, is from popular Tamil film maker Gautham Menon.

A Malayalee by himself, Gautham has been for quite sometime trying to start off in Malayalam. Dileep who sensed his interest in doing one such project, has discussed with Gautham about the chances and the project was finalised.

This movie yet to be titled will be a bilingual, also made in Malayalam. A R Rahman will be the music director of this movie which will kick off in a couple of months.

Meanwhile Gautham's latest movie ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ is now acclaimed as a hit in Tamil Nadu and also in Kerala as well. The movie which was shot in Kerala, is continuing with its success run in select centres in the major metros. The songs by A R Rahman are also big hits among the youth.

ദിലീപ് വീണ്ടും ഒരു തമിഴ് ചിത്രത്തില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കുകയാണ്. മലയാളത്തില്‍
തന്‍റെ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ വേണ്ടത്ര വിജയം നേടാന്‍ കഴിയാത്തതിനാല്‍ ഒരു ബ്രേക്ക്
വേണമെന്ന ചിന്തയാണ് ഒരു തമിഴ് ചിത്രത്തിലേക്ക് ദിലീപിനെ കൊണ്ടെത്തിച്ചത്.
ദിലീപിന്‍റെ ‘ആഗതന്‍’ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ മലയാളത്തിലെത്തിയ സത്യരാജാണ്
ദിലീപിന് ഈ അവസരം നല്‍കിയതെന്നാണ് അറിയാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നത്.

‘റോജ മല്ലി കനകാംബരം’
എന്നാണ് ദിലീപ് നായകനാകുന്ന തമിഴ് ചിത്രത്തിന് പേരിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. വിജയ്
നായകനായ പുതിയ ഗീതൈ, ചേരന്‍ നായകനായ രാമന്‍ തേടിയ സീതൈ എന്നീ സിനിമകള്‍ക്ക്
ശേഷം കെ പി ജഗന്നാഥ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചിത്രമാണ് റോജ മല്ലി കനകാംബരം.
സത്യരാജും ഈ സിനിമയില്‍ മുഖ്യവേഷത്തിലെത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. ദിലീപിന് മൂന്നു
നായികമാരാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തില്‍.

വിജയകാന്ത് ചിത്രമായ ‘രാജ്യം’ ആയിരുന്നു ദിലീപ് മുമ്പ്
അഭിനയിച്ച തമിഴ് ചിത്രം. ആ ചിത്രത്തില്‍ വിജയകാന്തിന്‍റെ ഊമയായ അനുജനായാണ്
ദിലീപ് വേഷമിട്ടത്. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ദിലീപിന്‍റെ കഥാപാത്രത്തിന്
സംഭാഷണങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. എന്നാല്‍, പുതിയ തമിഴ് ചിത്രത്തില്‍
സ്വന്തമായി ഡബ്ബ് ചെയ്യാന്‍ തന്നെയാണ് ദിലീപിന്‍റെ തീരുമാനം.

അടുത്തകാലത്ത് പ്രദര്‍ശനത്തിനെത്തിയ സ്വ ലേ, ബോഡിഗാര്‍ഡ്, ആഗതന്‍, പാപ്പീ
അപ്പച്ചാ തുടങ്ങിയ സിനിമകള്‍ ബോക്സോഫീസില്‍ അത്ര നല്ല പ്രകടനമല്ല
കാഴ്ചവച്ചത്. ഇപ്പോള്‍ മോഹന്‍ലാലിനൊപ്പം ക്രിസ്ത്യന്‍ ബ്രദേഴ്സ് എന്ന
ചിത്രത്തില്‍ അഭിനയിച്ചുവരികയാണ് ദിലീപ്.

മലയാളത്തില്‍ ചിരിയുടെ പൂരം സൃഷ്ടിച്ച ‘ഈ പറക്കും തളിക’യുടെ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗം അണിയറയില്‍ ഒരുങ്ങുന്നു. താഹ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ചിത്രത്തില്‍ ദിലീപാണ് നായകന്‍. ഈ വര്‍ഷം അവസാനം ചിത്രീകരണം ആരംഭിക്കുമെന്ന് സൂചന. വി ആര്‍ ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണനാണ് തിരക്കഥ രചിക്കുന്നത്.

താഹ ഇപ്പോള്‍ ‘മൂക്കില്ലാ രാജ്യത്ത്’ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗം ഒരുക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തിലാണ്. ജൂണില്‍ ആ ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് തുടങ്ങും. മൂക്കില്ലാരാജ്യത്ത് - 2 കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ ഉടന്‍ പറക്കും തളികയുമായി വീണ്ടുമെത്താനാണ് താഹയുടെ പരിപാടി
എന്നാല്‍ താഹയെ കുഴക്കുന്ന ഒരു പ്രശ്നമുണ്ട്. ‘ഈ പറക്കും തളിക’യില്‍ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രമായിരുന്ന ‘താമരാക്ഷന്‍ പിള്ള’ എന്ന ബസ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ എവിടെയാണെന്നു പോലും സംവിധായകനറിയില്ല. പറക്കും തളികയുടെ ചിത്രീകരണം അവസാനിക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത് ഉണ്ടായ സാമ്പത്തികപ്രശ്നം പരിഹരിക്കുന്നതിനായി ആ ബസ് നിര്‍മ്മാതാവ് വിറ്റിരുന്നു. പടം സൂപ്പര്‍ഹിറ്റായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞ് ബസിനെപ്പറ്റി അന്വേഷിച്ചെങ്കിലും അത് കണ്ടെത്താനായില്ല
വീരപ്പന്‍ കുറുപ്പ്’ എന്ന പൊലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച കൊച്ചിന്‍ ഹനീഫയുടെ അസാന്നിധ്യവും രണ്ടാം പറക്കും തളികയുടെ പകിട്ടിന് മങ്ങലേല്‍പ്പിക്കും. എന്നാല്‍ ഇതിനെയെല്ലാം മറികടക്കുന്ന ഒരു സൂപ്പര്‍ കോമഡി തിരക്കഥയൊരുക്കാനാണ് സംവിധായകന്‍ തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തിനോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്.
2001ല്‍ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ‘ഈ പറക്കും തളിക’ ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണന്‍ എന്ന ബസ് ഉടമസ്ഥന്‍റെ ജീവിതദുരിതങ്ങളുടെ രസകരമായ ആവിഷ്കാരമായിരുന്നു. നിത്യാദാസ് ആയിരുന്നു നായിക. രണ്ടാം ഭാഗത്തില്‍ നിത്യാദാസ് അതിഥിതാരമായെത്തും. നായികയെ തീരുമാനിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
സുന്ദരനായി ഹരിശ്രീ അശോകനും കോശിയായി സലിം കുമാറും രണ്ടാം ഭാഗത്തിലും ഉണ്ടാകും. ഈ വര്‍ഷം ദിലീപിന് ഏറ്റവും പ്രതീക്ഷയുള്ള പ്രൊജക്ടാണ് പറക്കും തളികയുടെ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗം
