മികച്ച
സംവിധായകനുള്ള സംസ്ഥാന അവാര്‍ഡ് ലഭിക്കാത്തതില്‍ തനിക്ക് വ്യക്തിപരമായ
വേദനയില്ലെന്ന് സംവിധായകന് രഞ്ജിത്. രഞ്ജിത് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ‘പാലേരി
മാണിക്യം: ഒരു പാതിരാക്കൊലപാതകത്തിന്‍റെ കഥ’ മികച്ച ചിത്രമായും ഈ
ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് മമ്മൂട്ടിയും ശ്വേത മേനോനും മികച്ച നടനായും
നടിയായും തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
എന്നാല്‍ മികച്ച സംവിധായകനുള്ള അവാര്‍ഡ് നേടിയത്
പഴശ്ശിരാജ ഒരുക്കിയ ഹരിഹരനാണ്. ഈ അവാര്‍ഡുകളൊക്കെ ഒരു ജൂറിയുടെ
തീരുമാനമാണെന്നും തനിക്ക് മികച്ച സംവിധായകനുള്ള അവാര്‍ഡ് ലഭിക്കാത്തതില്‍
ദുഃഖമില്ലെന്നും രഞ്ജിത് പറഞ്ഞു.
“ഏഷ്യാനെറ്റ്, മാതൃഭൂമി, വനിത തുടങ്ങിയ മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ അവരുടെ
ചലച്ചിത്ര അവാര്‍ഡുകള്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ ഞാനായിരുന്നു മികച്ച
സംവിധായകന്. എന്നാല്‍ അവരൊക്കെ മികച്ച ചിത്രമായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്
പഴശ്ശിരാജയെയാണ്. അതാണ് പറഞ്ഞത്, ഇതൊക്കെ ഓരോ ജൂറിയുടെയും തീരുമാനമാണ്.”
“ പാലേരി മാണിക്യം എന്ന
സിനിമയുടെ തിരക്കഥയ്ക്കായി ഏഴുമാസത്തിലേറെയാണ് ചെലവഴിച്ചത്. അതായിരുന്നു
ഏറ്റവും ശ്രമകരമായ സംഗതി. ഈ സിനിമയ്ക്ക് മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ പൂര്‍ണ
പിന്തുണയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. മമ്മൂട്ടിക്കും നിര്‍മ്മാതാക്കളായ സുബൈറിനും
അനൂപിനുമായി ഈ അവാര്‍ഡുകള്‍ സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുകയാണ്.” - രഞ്ജിത് പറഞ്ഞു.
“എന്‍റെ സിനിമാ
ജീവിതത്തില്‍ ആദ്യമായാണ് ഇത്രയും അവാര്‍ഡുകളാല്‍ ഞാന്‍
അംഗീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. സ്വാഭാവികമായി അതിന്‍റെ സന്തോഷമുണ്ട്. എന്‍റെ
‘തിരക്കഥ’ എന്ന ചിത്രം സംസ്ഥാന അവാര്‍ഡിലും പനോരമയിലും തഴയപ്പെട്ടു.
എന്നാല്‍ മികച്ച മലയാള ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള ദേശീയ പുരസ്കാരം ആ സിനിമ
സ്വന്തമാക്കി. എല്ലാ അവാര്‍ഡുകളും മുന്നോട്ടു പോകാനുള്ള ഊര്‍ജ്ജമാണ്

ഒരു സംവിധായകന്
എങ്ങനെയായിരിക്കണം എന്നതിന്‍റെ മാതൃകയാണ് ഹരിഹരന്. ‘ഈ സിനിമ എന്‍റേതാണ്’
എന്ന് ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചു പറയാന്‍ തന്‍റേടമുള്ള മാസ്റ്റര്‍ ഡയറക്ടര്‍. ഹരിഹരന്
അര്‍ഹതയ്ക്കുള്ള അംഗീകാരമാണ് 2009ലെ മികച്ച സംവിധായകനുള്ള സംസ്ഥാന
അവാര്‍ഡ്.
സൂപ്പര്‍താരങ്ങള്‍
അഭിനയിച്ചാലും പുതുമുഖങ്ങള്‍ അഭിനയിച്ചാലും ഹരിഹരന് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന
ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ ഹരിഹരന്‍റേതു മാത്രമാണ്. എം ടി വാസുദേവന്‍‌നായര്‍
തിരക്കഥയെഴുതുന്ന ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ സംവിധായകരുടെ പേരുകള്‍ രണ്ടാമതായി
പരാമര്‍ശിക്കുന്ന രീതി ഹരിഹരന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നില്ല. തിരക്കഥ എം
ടിയാണെങ്കിലും ഹരിഹരന് തന്നെ ക്യാപ്ടന്‍. എം ടി പോലും അത്
അംഗീകരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതാണ്.
പഴശ്ശിരാജ ഹരിഹരന്‍റെ മൂന്നര വര്‍ഷത്തോളം നീണ്ട തപസിന്‍റെ ഫലമാണ്.
ഒരു സംവിധായകന് തന്‍റെ ചിത്രത്തോട് എത്രമാത്രം സ്നേഹവും ആത്മാര്‍ത്ഥതയും
ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണമെന്നത് പഴശ്ശിരാജ വിജയകരമായി പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കി
കാണിച്ചുതരികയായിരുന്നു ഹരിഹരന്. മറ്റൊരു സംവിധായകനായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍
നിരന്തരമായുണ്ടായ വിഘ്നങ്ങളില്‍ മനസുമടുത്ത് ആ പ്രൊജക്ട് തന്നെ
ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.
‘ഞാന്‍ ഒരു യുദ്ധമുഖത്തായിരുന്നു’ എന്നാണ് പഴശ്ശിരാജയുടെ
ചിത്രീകരണത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഹരിഹരന് അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടത്. മൂവായിരത്തോളം
അഭിനേതാക്കള്‍. 27 കോടിയോളം ബജറ്റ്. റസൂല്‍ പൂക്കുട്ടി, എം ടി, ഇളയരാജ, ഒ
എന്‍ വി, മമ്മൂട്ടി, ശരത്കുമാര്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രഗത്ഭരുടെ നിര. ഹരിഹരന്
മുന്നില്‍ നിന്ന് നയിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ മലയാള സിനിമയ്ക്ക് ലഭിച്ചത് എക്കാലത്തെയും
വലിയ ഒരു സിനിമയാണ്. ഇപ്പോള്‍ എട്ട് സംസ്ഥാന അവാര്‍ഡുകള്‍ വാരിക്കൂട്ടി
പഴശ്ശി വീണ്ടും വിജയശ്രീലാളിതനാകുകയാണ്.
ഇത് മൂന്നാം തവണയാണ് മികച്ച സംവിധായകനുള്ള സംസ്ഥാന
അവാര്‍ഡ് ഹരിഹരന് ലഭിക്കുന്നത്. 1992ല്‍ സര്‍ഗം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിനും 94ല്‍
പരിണയം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിനുമാണ് മികച്ച സംവിധായകനായി ഹരിഹരന്
തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്. ‘കര്‍ണന്‍’ എന്ന ബിഗ് ബജറ്റ് ചിത്രമാണ്
ഹരിഹരന് അടുത്തതായി ഒരുക്കുന്നത്. മമ്മൂട്ടിയും ഗോകുലം ഗോപാലനും ഉള്‍പ്പടെ
പഴശ്ശിരാജയുടെ ടീമിലെ മിക്കവരെയും കര്‍ണനിലും ആവര്‍ത്തിക്കാനാണ് ഹരിഹരന്
തീരുമാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. | |
