| പ്രമുഖ തെന്നിന്ത്യന് താരം സിന്ധു മേനോന് വിവാഹിതയാകുന്നു. യുകെയില് ബിസിനസ് ചെയ്യുന്ന കുന്നംകുളം സ്വദേശി പ്രഭുവാണ് വരന്.
ഏപ്രില് 26 ന് ബാംഗ്ളൂരിലെ ബൌറിംഗ് ക്ളബ്ബില്വച്ചായിരുന്നു ഇവരുടെ വിവാഹനിശ്ചയം. വിവാഹം [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ഒരു മാസത്തിനകം ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്ന് സിന്ധുവിന്റെ വീട്ടുകാര് പറഞ്ഞു. എന്നാല് തീയതി നിശ്ചയിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
വിവാഹത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് കൂടുതല് വിവരങ്ങള് നല്കാന് സമയമായിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് സിന്ധു മേനോന് പറഞ്ഞു. ഇതിനിടെ സിന്ധു മേനോന് ബാംഗ്ളൂര് എം. ജി റോഡില് വച്ച് ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച കാറപകടത്തില് പെട്ടുവെന്ന് നഗരത്തില് വാര്ത്ത പ്രചരിച്ചിരുന്നു.
എന്നാല് ഇത് കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചവാര്ത്തയാണെന്ന് സിന്ധുവിന്റെ വീട്ടുകാര് വിശദീകരിച്ചു. മലയാളത്തിലും തമിഴിലും ഒരേപോലെ തിളങ്ങുന്ന സിന്ധിമേനോന് ഒട്ടേറെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ വേഷങ്ങള് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
അടുത്തിടെയാണ് താരം കന്നഡത്തിലെ കന്നിച്ചിത്രം ചെയ്തത്. നല്ല ഒരു നര്ത്തകികൂടിയാണ് സിന്ധു. കാരാറില് ഒപ്പുവച്ച പടങ്ങള് പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കിയശേഷമായിരിക്കും വിവാഹമെന്നാണ് സൂചന. | |

മീരാ ജാസ്മിന് നാടകത്തില് അഭിനയിക്കുന്നു. നടനും സംഗീത നാടക അക്കാദമി ചെയര്മാനുമായ മുകേഷാണ് ഇക്കാര്യം അറിയിച്ചത്. മീരയെ നായികയാക്കിയുള്ള നാടകത്തിന്റെ എഴുത്തുജോലികള് നടക്കുന്നതായി മുകേഷ് സൂചന നല്കി.
തൃശൂര് പ്രസ് ക്ലബിന്റെ മുഖാമുഖം പരിപാടിയില് പങ്കെടുത്ത് സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു മുകേഷ്.
“തനിക്ക് നാടകത്തില് അഭിനയിക്കാന് താല്പര്യമുണ്ടെന്ന് മീരാ ജാസ്മിന് ഒരു അഭിമുഖത്തില് പറഞ്ഞത് ശ്രദ്ധയില് പെട്ടിരുന്നു. അവര്ക്ക് പെര്ഫോം ചെയ്യാന് കഴിയുന്ന ഒരു നാടകം ഒരുക്കുകയാണ് ആദ്യം ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്. അതിനു ശേഷം മീരയെ ക്ഷണിക്കാമെന്നാണ് കരുതുന്നത്.” - മുകേഷ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി
"മീരയെപ്പോലുള്ള താരങ്ങള് നാടകത്തില് അഭിനയിക്കുന്നത് നാടകരംഗത്തിന്റെ ഇപ്പോഴുള്ള പ്രതിസന്ധിക്ക് പരിഹാരം കാണാന് സഹായിക്കും. സിനിമയില് നിന്നുള്ള കൂടുതല് പേരെ നാടക സംരംഭങ്ങളില് പങ്കെടുപ്പിക്കുന്നത് ജനശ്രദ്ധ നേടാന് കാരണമാകും. അത് നാടകത്തിന് ഗുണമാണ്.” - മുകേഷ് പറഞ്ഞു
നടന് തിലകനു താല്പര്യമുണ്ടെങ്കില് കേരള സംഗീത നാടക അക്കാദമിയുമായി സഹകരിക്കാമെന്നും മുകേഷ് പറഞ്ഞു. താരസംഘടനയായ ‘അമ്മ’യിലെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം അംഗങ്ങളും എതിര്ത്താല് ടി വി ഷോകളില് പങ്കെടുക്കില്ലെന്നും മുകേഷ് അറിയിച്ചു
