| അക്ഷയ് കുമാര്‍ വേണ്ട, രജനീകാന്ത് മതി: ദീപിക  തെന്നിന്ത്യന്‍ സൂപ്പര്‍താരം രജനീകാന്ത് ത്രിബിള്‍ റോളില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കുന്ന റാണാ എന്ന സിനിമയില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കുന്നതിനായി അക്ഷയ് കുമാര്‍ അഭിനയിക്കുന്ന ചിത്രത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് ദീപിക പഡുകോണ്‍ പിന്‍‌മാറി. സാജിദ് ഖാന്‍ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ‘ഹൌസ്‌ഫുള്‍ 2’ എന്ന സിനിമയോടാണ് ദീപിക ‘നോ’ പറഞ്ഞത്. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സിനിമയില്‍ ഏറ്റവും താരമൂല്യമുള്ള രജനീകാന്തിനോടൊപ്പം അഭിനയിക്കാന്‍ കിട്ടുന്ന ‘ചാന്‍സ്’ ഒരിക്കലും ‘മിസ്’ ചെയ്യരുത് എന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതിനാലാണ് ഈ തീരുമാനമെന്ന് ദീപികയോട് അടുത്ത വൃത്തങ്ങള്‍ പറയുന്നു.
ദീപികയുടെ ഈ തീരുമാനം മലയാളി താരം അസിന് ഒരു അവസരം ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നത് ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. ദീപികയുടെ കോള്‍ഷീറ്റ് ലഭിക്കില്ലെന്ന് മനസിലായ സാജിദ് ഖാന്‍ നായികയാവാനായി ഇപ്പോള്‍ ക്ഷണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് അസിനെയാണ്. അസിന്റെ നാലാമത്തെ ഹിന്ദി ചിത്രമാണിത്. വന്‍ ഹിറ്റായ ഗജിനി, തകര്‍ന്നടിഞ്ഞ ലണ്ടന്‍ ഡ്രീം‌സ്, റിലീസ് ചെയ്യാനിരിക്കുന്ന റെഡ് എന്നിവയാണ് ഇതുവരെ അസിന് അഭിനയിച്ച ഹിന്ദി സിനിമകള്‍.
യന്തിരന്‍ എന്ന ബ്രഹ്മാണ്ഡ ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ തകര്‍പ്പന്‍ വിജയത്തോടെയാണ് രജനീകാന്ത് ബോളിവുഡ് നായികമാര്‍ക്ക് പ്രിയങ്കരനാകുന്നത്. ലോകമെമ്പാടും റിലീസ് ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് ബോളിവുഡിനെ ഞെട്ടിച്ച യന്തിരന്‍ നേടിയെടുത്തത് 47 കോടിയുടെ ലാഭമാണ്. 132 കോടി രൂപ മുടക്കി നിര്‍മിച്ച ചിത്രം തമിഴിന് പുറമെ ഹിന്ദി, തെലുങ്ക് ഭാഷകളിലും റിലീസ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. സാറ്റലൈറ്റ് അവകാശം ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 179 കോടി രൂപയാണ് യന്തിരന്‍ നേടിയത്. സിനിമയിലെ നായികയായ ഐശ്വര്യാ റായിക്ക് റെക്കോര്‍ഡ് പ്രതിഫലമാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്. ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് ലഭിച്ച സുവര്‍ണാവസരം പാഴാക്കില്ലെന്ന തീരുമാനം ദീപിക എടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.
സൂപ്പര്‍ സിറ്റ് സംവിധായകനായ കെഎസ് രവികുമാറാണ് “റാണാ” സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്നത്. കോമഡി, സംഘട്ടനങ്ങള്‍, സെന്റിമെന്റ്സ് തുടങ്ങി പതിവ് ചേരുവകളുമായെത്തുന്ന ഈ സിനിമയില്‍ മൂന്ന് വേഷങ്ങളിലാണ് രജനി അഭിനയിക്കുക. തമിഴ്, തെലുങ്ക്, ഹിന്ദി, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷകളില്‍ ഈ സിനിമ റിലീസ് ചെയ്യും. ഓസ്കാര്‍ അവാര്‍ഡ് നേടിയ എ‌ആര്‍ റഹ്മാന്‍ ആയിരിക്കും സിനിമയുടെ സംഗീതം നിര്‍വഹിക്കുന്നത്. സിനിമയുടെ സാങ്കേതിക വശം കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നത് ഹോളിവുഡ് സ്റ്റുഡിയോ ആയ ഐക്യൂബ് ആയിരിക്കും.
കെഎസ് രവികുമാര്‍ - രജനീ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടിലൂടെ മുത്തു (തേന്മാവിന്‍ കൊമ്പത്ത് എന്ന സിനിമയുടെ റിമേക്ക്), പടയപ്പ എന്നീ സൂപ്പര്‍ ഹിറ്റുകള്‍ തമിഴിന് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇത് മൂന്നാം തവണയാണ് രജനിക്കൊപ്പം രവികുമാര്‍ കൈകോര്‍ക്കുന്നത്. മൂന്നുമുഖം, ജോണ്‍ ജോണി ജനാര്‍ദ്ദനന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ സിനിമകളിലാണ് ഇതിനുമുമ്പ് രജനി ത്രിബിള്‍ റോള്‍ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഹോളിവുഡ് സിനിമയായ ‘അവതാര്‍’ പോലൊരു അനുഭവമായിരിക്കും ‘റാണാ’ സമ്മാനിക്കുകയെന്ന് രജനി തന്നെ പറയുന്നു. മാര്‍ച്ച് മാസം ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് ആരംഭിക്കും | |

| A triple bonanza for Rajnikanth’s fans in Rana  Tamil superstar Rajnikanth left his fans agog with excitement when he played double role in the sci- fi fantasy flick ‘Endhiran’ but his ardent fans have yet another reason to be delighted about as the God of movies will be seen playing a triple role in the magnum opus Rana.
The film will be directed by K S Ravikumar and co-produced by Eros International and Chennai based-Ocher Studios. The movie is scheduled to go on floors in March this year.
Oscar winner A. R. Rahman will be putting together the music score of the film. A.R. Rahman had earlier composed music in Rajni’s last big screen outing, Endhiran (The Robot). The album had said to have created history and had registered a record- breaking sale in the audio market.
Prominent visual effects luminary and an Emmy award winner, Charles Darby, will be the visual effects supervisor of this trilingual film.
Speaking on the development, Sunil Lulla, Managing Director, Eros International Media Ltd said, “Rajni fans will be treated to a triple role essayed by their favourite actor. Rana is going to be far different from any of the recent Rajni films, a complete live action magnum opus with loads of entertainment for his fans.” Rana will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
The million fans of Rajnikanth are waiting with bated breath to experience the triple treat offered by their Demi- God. | |
