| നടി ശ്വേതാ മേനോന് വെട്ടേറ്റു. സിനിമാ ചിത്രീകരണത്തിനിടെയാണ് സംഭവം. ഗുരുതരമായി പരുക്കേറ്റ ശ്വേതയെ ശസ്ത്രക്രിയയ്ക്ക് വിധേയയാക്കി. വലത് കൈക്കുഴയ്ക്കാണ് വെട്ടേറ്റത്.
വി എം വിനു സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ’പെണ്‍പട്ടണം’ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ ഷൂട്ടിംഗിനിടെയാണ് സംഭവം. സംഘട്ടന രംഗമാണ് ചിത്രീകരിച്ചത്. വെട്ടേറ്റ് കൈയുടെ ഞരമ്പ് മുറിഞ്ഞു. ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ കോഴിക്കോട്ട് സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഞരമ്പ് മുറിഞ്ഞതിനാല്‍ ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ നടത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.
കോഴിക്കോട്‌ ബംഗ്ലാദേശ്‌ കോളനിക്കു സമീപമാണ് ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് നടന്നത്. രഞ്ജിത്തിന്‍റെ കഥയെഴുതുന്ന പെണ്‍പട്ടണത്തിന് ടി എ റസാഖാണ് തിരക്കഥ രചിക്കുന്നത്. കൈലാഷാണ് നായകന്‍. സ്ത്രീ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള ഈ ചിത്രത്തില്‍ ഏറെ വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ഒരു കഥാപാത്രത്തെയാണ് ശ്വേത അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. വിഷ്ണുപ്രിയ, രേവതി, കെ പി എ സി ലളിത എന്നിവര്‍ മുഖ്യ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. | |
